These funny
roadrunners are
all over Texas.
I have even seen
some of them
near my home in
the piney woods of
north Louisiana.
They say they are
not very good fliers,
but they make
up for if with their
speed on the
ground. I know
that they eat
snakes, and that
makes them heroes
in my book.
